When going
to design a logo either for a website of for any business organization, it is
essential to keep in mind all the details and core concept of the owner so that
the logo could relate with people that are connected to that business. A
designer should think in both, technical and emotional, ways for gathering
ideas about designing a brilliant logo that could make a good impression on
viewer’s mind. A good logo is not just a matter of few colors and fonts
arranged in different combination and sizes in fact, it conveys a direct
message, about that particular website or business, to anybody who come across
the logo.
Size Matters in All Cases:
Every time,
when you sit down to design a logo, you should try to test the logo, after
designing a sample, in different font sizes and make sure that it looks perfect
in either extremely large or small fonts. Because it may not be visible
on the top section of a website or just going to stick on the company’s board
only. A logo would definitely be used in other places like in social websites,
business cards, receipts and forms etc.
If you miss
to check the accuracy and perfection of logo, in different font sizes,
then it might spoil the whole concept of yours when used somewhere else that
you skipped while testing.
Font Selection Affects the
Quality:
Another
most important thing that is essential, when designing logo, is that you should
try the most relevant font that represent the nature of business like if
you are going to design a logo for a rock band’s website then using a light font
might not be a good idea instead, you can use a bold type of font that
could relate to rock music’s true aura and viewer could get the idea about band
and its website after watching the logo only. You should be aware of different font
types and could be able to choose the perfect one from vast font family.
Trying Different Styles May
Give Better Results:
Sometimes,
it is a good idea to try different style before reaching to the final step of
logo designing. As a designer, you are ought to be creative and creativity
requires the habit of trying different things in the work. Try adding different
color in each word or alphabet or you may also try partial color sequence in a
logo. Similarly, trying some funky fonts may give you the perfect logo
that your client was expecting from you so you should not rely on traditional
font types when designing a logo.
Sometimes Fonts Are Not Enough:
A logo can
also be expressed by the use of symbols and pictures along with different fonts
in it. So you should give it a try and use different symbols, either partially,
in words along with fonts and you will find something interesting by
adding some change to the conventional creativity of yours. But the use of fonts
in words is easier for the viewer to remember the name of business that could
be beneficial for company.
